Mom, dad, married, two children: this is the traditional family picture, but it does not replicate reality. Family constellations are subject to constant change. Family law is not up to date in this area and no longer does justice to today's reality. Family law in the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB) is regulated and includes provisions on marriage law, kinship and adult protection law. Thanks to the active jurisdiction of the Federal Supreme Court, central questions of parental care and custody as well as adult protection law have also taken shape in recent years.

When a relationship comes to an end, many different aspects have to be legally regulated. Whether it is children's concerns, questions of custody or the consequences of divorce, the registration of a same-sex partnership or the drafting of marriage (and inheritance) contracts, we will provide you with competent support not only on a professional level but also on a human level.

In addition, we advise and represent affected persons in proceedings before the KESB, for example in the examination of a guardianship or welfare accommodation and supporting them in drafting living wills and health care mandates.
