Digital lecture at the University of St. Gallen

The corona virus forced Patrik Odermatt and Philip Kaiser her lecture at the University of St Gallen digital. This new format was challenging, but it also opened up many new opportunities. The topic could hardly be more topical. The two speakers examined corporate law notarial transactions in the digital age – electronic notarization, digital currencies, virtual meetings, and blockchain technology. Ordinance 2 on measures to combat the corona virus The virtual general meeting, previously only envisaged in the draft of the partial revision of the Code of Obligations, immediately became a reality. This also presents notaries with new challenges when it comes to general meeting resolutions that require notarization. Prof. Dr. Florian Moeslein thanked for the invitation to speak as part of his lecture in Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen.
